Defining Moments,

Hi my name is Eyerusalem Girma Zewdie, I have so many defining moments on my journey thus far I had to maneuver through and to highlight a few, up on finishing high school, the grades I got wasn't necessarily the grades I was expecting which left me with few options. The only college that accepted my grades was a Teachers Academy, with in that a Physics Department. Physics was one of the toughest subjects for me in high school but I accepted the challenge and enrolled. Little did I know, life was checking me, checking to see if I would accept a challenge that wasn't necessarily easy for me and was preparing me for what’s to come. Winning the #DiversityVisaLottery meant that I would have to leave everyone I knew behind and come to a new country, territory on my own and figure life out on this end. And that's what I did and doing. #definingmoments #physics #takethechallenge#learnfromit #manuver #lifelessons #explorer #navigator #pathfinder#storyteller #mystory #winneroflife #winning #newlife #naturallyme#naturallycurlyhair #afro

Did you have defining moments? How did you maneuver through it? Share.

From Ethiopia to Brooklyn, a New Brand Campaigns for Peace

Hi Eyerusalem here,

Wow time flies. It has been few years since I published any new content and I would say so much has happened during this time.

I decided to return back to college and get my degree. Yes finally I found a major that I felt brought all of my journey together, Public Affairs and I graduated with this degree in May 2016.

I have also revamped EYERÜ my accessory line that I started few years ago, now with more vision and mission.

I was inspired to break down the word EYERÜ to eyeRü as in I Am You, and my mission is to create a global conversation focusing on our similarities while embracing our differences in order to have a better tomorrow. Harmony. I have started a T-shirt line in November of 2017. I decided to go with T-shirts because they are easily accessible to get my message a crossed.

This new chapter of my life, my story is published on BK Reader, an online magazine that is based in Brooklyn that highlights stories on Brooklynites who are doing big things, I am one of them. Yaye.

You can also buy the T-shirts and few other products on my website: eyeru.com

Keep in touch! Let me know what you think! Blessings!

Best,

Eyerusalem
